St. Mary's Students Compete in Local Science Fair

The St. Mary’s 2017 Middle School Science Fair was held on February 9, 2017.  A total of fifty-seven projects were entered for judging.  The projects were divided into two categories, physical and biological sciences, and the judges awarded a first through fifth place in each category.  Additionally, two honorable mentions were awarded in biological sciences and seven in physical sciences. …

Student Places Nationally in VFW Essay Contest

On March 3, 2017, Tennessee State Representative, John Ragan, along with several members of VFW Post 12051, came to St. Mary’s School to make a special presentation to 7th grader, Genevieve Robinson.  Jim Irving, VFW District 2 Commander, shared opening remarks and presented Genevieve with a $1,000 check and a plaque for winning the Department of Tennessee’s Patriot’s Pen competition …

Welcome to St. Mary’s, Deacon Scott Haner!

We welcome Deacon Scott Haner from CRS, who will preach at our Sunday Masses this weekend. Deacon Scott Haner and his wife JoAnn have been married for over 30 years. Scott was ordained in 2008 after he and JoAnn completed formation classes. They have two adult daughters, Julie, living in Cincinnati and Lauren, living in Dayton.
