Final Report: Covington Catholic High School

Last month the Diocese of Covington, which is part of our ecclesiastical province, commissioned an independent investigation into the events that occurred when Covington Catholic High School students waited for their buses for the return trip to Kentucky following the annual March for Life in Washington, DC. The investigation has concluded and the final report is available on the Diocese of Covington website. The investigation found that: (A.) the students did not instigate either the incident with the Black Hebrew Israelites or with the American Indian Movement, (B.) the students did not chant “build that wall”, (C.) the students did not approach members of the American Indian Movement, (D.) the students purchase hats each year pertaining to the president in office, including purchasing “Hope” hats during the presidency of Mr. Barack Obama, and (E.) the adults provided constant and capable supervision of the students.
