Ordination of the Bishop-Elect – the Ordination of the Bishop-Elect, Mark Beckman, will take place at the Knoxville Convention Center on Friday, July 26, 2024.  Request for tickets to the Ordination will be accepted on a “first come, first serve” basis.  To request tickets or obtain more information please visit:  https://dioknox.org .  

Pre-Fireworks Viewing Fun – the Youth Group will meet on Thursday, July 4 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for an evening of fun and games before the Oak Ridge City Fireworks.  Wear Red, White, and Blue Attire and bring a snack to share with others. 

Ulster Project of East Tennessee – The Ulster Project of East Tennessee brings teenagers from Northern Ireland to America each summer. Spread across Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and everywhere in between, the teens live with host families so they can learn about American culture and work to break down barriers between participants of different religions.  The Ulster project teens will be on campus beginning July 2.   

Fall Festival Golf Tournament Save the Date:  Saturday, September 21.  The tournament will be held at The Patch at the Preserve and will tee off at 10:00 am.  The Patch is a 12-hole par 3, 4 club course.  A maximum of 48 golfers can enter.  For more information or to sponsor a hole contact Kim Lulay (414-305-5485). 

4th of July Holiday Schedule Changes 

  • The morning mass on July 4th will be 9:00 am. 
  • The Parish office will be closed on July 4th and 5th for the Independence Day Holiday. 
  • St. Mary’s School will be closed July 1 – 5 in observance of Independence Day. 
  • The St. Joseph’s Food Pantry will be CLOSED on July 3 and July 10 for maintenance.  The pantry will reopen on July 17. 
  • The White Elephant Thrift Store will be CLOSED on July 4, but will be open 10am – 4pm on Tuesday, July 2nd, and Saturday, July 6th.
