Welcome
Congratulations on your desire to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism!

Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation through which we are freed from sin, receive the gift of divine life, and become members of Christ's Church. Through Baptism, we are welcomed into the family of God and begin a lifelong journey of faith and discipleship.
Whether you are preparing for the baptism of your child or seeking information about Baptism, we are honored to accompany you through this important step in the life of faith.
Beginning the Process
The first step is to complete our online Sacrament Interest Form.
Once your form is received:
- A member of our parish office staff will contact you and provide the Baptism Registration Forms.
- After the registration materials have been received, a member of our clergy or our Director of Religious Education will contact you.
- Families will then be enrolled in a Baptism Preparation Class, which is offered quarterly in both English and Spanish.

Baptism Preparation
Parents seeking Baptism for their child are asked to participate in a Baptism Preparation Class prior to scheduling the celebration of the sacrament.
Our parish offers preparation sessions:
- Quarterly in English
- Quarterly in Spanish
These sessions help both parents and Godparents understand the meaning of Baptism, the responsibilities of raising a child in the Catholic faith, and the role of godparents.
Scheduling the Baptism
Following completion of the preparation process, Baptisms are ordinarily scheduled:
- First Saturday of the month (English)
- Second Saturday of the month (Spanish)
These celebrations typically take place during the first two weekends of the month following the preparation class.
Special Scheduling Requests
We understand that family needs and circumstances may vary. Requests for alternative dates or times may be considered based on individual circumstances and the availability of our priests and deacons.
Godparents
Godparents play an important role in supporting the child and family in the Catholic faith. Godparents should be practicing Catholics who meet the requirements of the Catholic Church and are prepared to assist in the spiritual formation of the child.
If you have questions regarding godparent eligibility, our parish staff will be happy to assist you.
Questions???
