Welcome to St. Mary’s, Deacon Scott Haner!

We welcome Deacon Scott Haner from CRS, who will preach at our Sunday Masses this weekend. Deacon Scott Haner and his wife JoAnn have been married for over 30 years. Scott was ordained in 2008 after he and JoAnn completed formation classes. They have two adult daughters, Julie, living in Cincinnati and Lauren, living in Dayton.

St. Mary’s School competed in the Secret City Chess Tournament on Saturday, November 5th at Oak Ridge High School. The tournament hosted 42 teams comprised of 76 students. Conducted nationwide, the Patriot’s Pen is a VFW-sponsored youth essay competition that gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme.
